Wow time flies

Almost another whole year has passed us by in silence. I wonder how my fellow bloggers are doing? I lost a dear friend and mentor who was like a father to me last week and still trying to get my head on straight. Other than that, I'm doing pretty good. Been working on a new website for my local church where I attend and adding video and audio of sunday services for those who can't attend and I am enjoying that a lot. Its been a year of twists and turns but all has come out in the end. How are you guys doing?

Nearly a year since my last post....

So are we all still around? Let's see... in the last year I have, got married, got a new job and bought a motorcycle. So what have you guys been up to?

It is cold outside

Its a cold snowy December day here in North Eastern Missouri.. For all you folks reading this, please take the time to check on your elderly or infirm family,friends and neighbors to make sure everyone has enough food and heat in this cold season. Also don't forget your pets need plenty of water and a shelter during this bitter cold. Thanks for taking the time to care.

So the baby is almost a year old now and doing well( the pic is her and Mommy), Got my first tattoo about a month ago and i changed jobs like 6 times since we all talked last. How about you guys? Where have you been and what are you up to these days? Miss you all. Later, Larry

Getting Better All the Time

Hey, a big thank you to all who read my last post and had me in their thoughts. Positive energy helps... We learned last Thursday that Gigi is 4 1/2 months pregnant so maybe I wasn't quite as annoying as she thought I was. perhaps it was a bit of pregnancy...lol... Anyhow we are working things out and while she hasn't moved back home yet we are all seeing a counselor to try and resolve the situations with my sons anger issues and a few other issues. We are hoping to have everything ironed out in a few weeks so we can be a family again. IM GOING TO BE A DADDY AGAIN !!! We are pretty sure its a girl but ultrasound couldnt get a good view to be positive but it was a very moving experience to see ones child in the ultrasound screen at the hospital when she only went to the doctor thinking she had an inner ear infection and a kidney infection... I wish I had a picture of the look on her face when the doctor told her she was definately pregnant. She and I are so happy. We both thought we would never have any other children and now we are going to have the child we both wanted so much. I shall keep you all posted. Hopefully at the next ultrasound they will send some pics home with us and I will scan them in and post them if anyone is interested.

Every day on this earth there is pain, suffering and devastation. So infrequently it is that we stop and think about those who are victims to these disasters. Many of us stop now in the wake of Katrina. Why is this different? The most obvious answer is media. For some, it is close to home and for others, it IS home. Whichever the case, awareness, gratitude and compassion are are in order. They are order today. They are in order each and every day.
